About Christian Family Bookstore

Christian Family Bookstore was established in June of 1990 as a conservative, family owned Christian Bookstore by Tucker and Donna Williams. They carry a wide selection of Bibles and Class Materials. In the fall of 2016, Tucker approached Perry Hillis of H & C Religious supplies to see if he would be interested in a merger of their two companies. After prayerful thought and much consideration, a contract was written that provided H & C Religious Supplies to acquire Christian Family Bookstore. The Hillis family decided to keep the Christian Family Bookstore name and location and strives to maintain the integrity of the products previously offered as well as expanding their offering to help those that teach more.

Christian Family Bookstore's Parent Company's History

In the mid 1970’s, two men, Joel Hillis and Ron Coles, had an idea to provide people with custom badges for their special events. It was these two men Mr. H(illis) and Mr. C(oles) that started H and C Supplies. By 1978 they had integrated a small sampling of religious supplies and books to their offerings. On September 6th, 1978 they incorporated the business and opened a small store in Athens, Tennessee. Shortly thereafter they moved the business to East Ridge, Tennessee. The non-profit mutual benefit corporation now consists of members from the Hillis family only. Today, our family owned business has grown to provide a wide variety of religious supplies to people throughout the world. We are still located in our long time home town of East Ridge, Tennessee, a suburb of Chattanooga and with the Lord's will, we will continue to serve you for many years to come with the purchase of Christian Family Bookstore.
