New Me, The: Putting Off The Old Self And Putting On

"But you did not learn Christ in this way, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus, that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth." - Ephesians 4:20-24

Our goal is to describe this new man we become in Christ. We deal with both parts of this process. We talk about negative characteristics to be put off and positive qualities to be put on. This class is really about character, the kind of character God wants His followers to possess. In our search of Bible study materials for young people, we found this to be a subject that is greatly neglected.
