He plainly declared that he wrote so that "you might believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God".The purpose of Bases of Belief is to encourage preachers to seriously study John and to preach from this book he has written so we could have abases for belief. Hopefully the sermon outlines in this book will stimulate preachers to design and deliver Bible based and Scripture filled lessons from John. These outlines are sent forth as guidelines for further study and in developing these lessons the sermons may indeed be the lessons of the preacher.
